After Saturday’s 5k, next on the fill-the-weekend-with-fun agenda was Woofstock.
It was a fundraiser for our local Humane Society that included “brews, bands and barks”. We took Walter and Ernie and went with our friends, Mike and Heather, and their pup, Bailey.

We got cute little 2 oz. beer mugs when we went in and you could go around to all the different craft brew tents and get it filled up. I filled my mug up more times than I can count (I mean, it WAS only 2 oz.). I had my favorites from Thomas Creek, a lager from Mad River (yum!) , a few different tastes from Terrapin, the Sweet Water seasonal (Motorboatin’), and a few different tastes from Highland.
We also met up with Char and Jesse and their pup Callie!

It was a beautiful day…hard to believe that it is November. We were roasting in our long sleeves!
We missed the first band, but when we got there, the 2nd band was playing and they were really good. So good, that this guy (with his Chihuahua in a harness???) was dancing the day away…
Unfortunately the last band, Yo Mama’s Big Fat Booty Band (no seriously, that was their name) was pretty awful and was just having a loud jam session on stage for a couple of hours.
We stayed until almost the very end, then went home to watch football before going out with our friends for sushi. It was a great day of hanging out with friends and enjoying another fun event in Greenville. It is really, really nice to be able to have some free time to do fun things like this now that I am not training, or exhausted from training, every weekend!!
This sounds like an awesome festival! What a great combination of music, beer, and dogs, what else could you ask for? Sounds like you had fun!!! All the dogs are adorable and I’m so jealous, I want one so badly
My two would NEVER behave themselves long enough to go to something like that, but it sounds really fun! Beer, dogs, live music, good friends, and warm weather .. that’s seriously hard to beat!

Looks like a successful event! I heard about this right before we were already going out of town for the weekend but looked fun. Glad you were able to go and enjoy it, other than the Big Booty Band.
