Has this week just been strange for everyone? I loved having a little mini weekend in the middle of the week, but somehow with only two days on either side, I have been completely unproductive!

Last Friday at this time I was at Smith Mountain Lake in Virginia, enjoying a relaxing weekend with family. While I sit and daydream about laying on the boat and enjoying the sunshine, I thought I would share some pictures from the weekend.

Back story: Walter spends most of his time at the lake on the beach “fishing”. He stalks the fish around and then tries to pounce on them. Needless to say, he has never even come close to being successful, but it keeps him occupied for HOURS at a time…

Meanwhile Ernie likes to run back and forth along the beach and dock and jump off of that big blue float that’s in the background above. But then he gets water in his ears, which drives him crazy so he rubs his head in the sand to try to get it out. What a mess!

And of course, the little Moozer just loves the puppies. So when she put on her new pair of Hello Kitty panties, she insisted that Ernie put on a matching pair.

I swear she is the most adorable 2 1/2-year-old ever…but I might be a little biased, afterall I am her “Aunt Dorey”

I hope everyone has an awesome weekend. Tomorrow is one of my riding buddy’s 50th birthday, so we have 50 miles with 5,000 ft. of climbing on tap to celebrate! It’s going to hurt!
